The Spinal Surgery Fellowship Program provides a comprehensive, well-rounded, educational environment for the training of fellows and residents in the diagnosis and management of disorders of the spine. With seven attending physicians whose practices are focused on spinal problems in adults and children, the fellows participate in the care of degenerative, traumatic, congenital, rheumatologic, pathologic, and metabolic disorders related to the spine.
The volume of outpatient and surgical experience is such that fellows develop excellent surgical decision-making and skills during their training. Research is emphasized and the research activity, both clinical and laboratory, has provided significant published projects.
