Corewell Health: The new name for Beaumont. Here to make health better.

On behalf of Beaumont Health in Royal Oak Michigan, we are excited to announce our URIM Visiting Student Scholarship Program. This program will award up to two $1000 Scholarships to selected students who exhibit a strong commitment to Emergency Medicine. Students must have successfully completed all M3 requirements set forth by their medical school to be considered.

Beaumont’s Department of Emergency Medicine is committed to building an environment where all feel welcome. Our goal is to promote a sense of belonging where we respect voices and contributions from all races, genders, religions and marginalized communities. We aim to create a learning environment which is enriched by varied perspectives and experiences. We welcome highly motivated students to come train-in one of the top 10 busiest ED’s in the nation.

Medical students enrolled in their 4th year of an LCME accredited school of Medicine. The student should identify an unrepresented minority in medicine. This would include, but is not limited to, Black or Indigenous Person of Color (including African or Caribbean, Latinx, Native Americans, Asian, Middle Eastern, Indian, and Pacific Island heritage) and students from the LGBTQ community.
