The Beaumont Neurological Surgery Residency is a newly accredited 7-year program, beginning at the PGY-1 level, to accommodate 1 Resident/year (7 total). Beaumont Health is well-respected nationally for its excellence in patient care and quality. Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak is an ACS designated Level One Trauma Center and is the primary site for the program. Our patient population is a cross-section of the ethnic and socioeconomic classes represented in the metropolitan Detroit area. Most rotations will take place at Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, with 25% at Beaumont Hospital, Dearborn. In addition to general neurosurgery this program includes rotations in Advanced Spine, Anesthesia, Functional and Pain, Neurology, Neuropathology, Neuroradiology and Endovascular, Neurotology, Pediatric I and II, and Skull Base with Stereotactic and Radiosurgery.
We are recruiting applicants and planning for resident interviews to take place at the Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak’s campus November through January.
