All of the Beaumont Health Oncology Residency faculty members have advanced training in cancer rehabilitation. Several of the faculty members have achieved board certification as an oncology specialist while others have advanced certifications such as
lymphedema training. A large number of our faculty members have successfully published in peer reviewed medical journals in the area of cancer rehabilitation and are actively involved at the state and national level in oncology rehabilitation.
Nicole Booms PT, DPT, OMPT
Nicole Booms started at Beaumont as a PT in 2002. She is a graduate of Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan in 2002. She completed her transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Oakland University in 2010. She has also received advanced training in orthopedic manual physical therapy (OMPT) from Oakland University in 2005. She has practiced clinically in the outpatient, inpatient rehabilitation, home health, and acute care settings and her clinical focus is on medically complex patient management.
